Acacia Senegal Gum
A natural herb that is found in dry grassy areas in Africa, Australia, and Egypt. Used as a thickening agent but also because of its ability to naturally sooth the skin.
Kiwi Fruit (Actinidia Chinensis) Extract
High in antioxidants including Vitamin C and several polyphenols. An effective ingredient for protecting skin from free radicals caused by UV sunlight.
High in antioxidants, Vitamin A & C, Aloe Vera is used to hydrate and rebalance the skin. Highly effective with removing acne scars and blemishes. Also effective with reducing fine lines and wrinkles.
Anhydroxylitol
A natural plant-derived ingredient that helps the skin absorb and retain moisture.

Benzoic Acid
A naturally occurring preservative that is found in Raspberries, Anise, Tea, and Cassia Bark. Contains anti-ageing and moisturising properties. Also used as a stabiliser which helps regulate the skin's pH.
Benzyl Alcohol
An aromatic alcohol that is naturally found in fruit. Acts as a preservative and assists with reducing viscosity.
Benzyl Salicylate
A naturally occurring component of essential oils such as Ylang. Used as a UV light absorber/reflector which prevents products from going bad.
Calendula Oil (Calendula Officinalis)
Extracted from the Marigold flower, Calendula Oil contains antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties. Used to help soothe eczema and dry, irritated skin.
Cetearyl Alcohol (also known as Cetostearyl Alcohol)
A fatty acid derived from plant oils. Used as a natural emollient (moisturiser) and thickening agent.
Cetearyl Olivate
Composed of Cetearyl Alcohol and fatty acids derived from Olive Oil, it is used to help tone and provide elasticity to the skin.
Cetyl Palmitate
Is a stabiliser that is derived from Olive Oil fatty acids. A useful emollient (moisturiser) and skin conditioner.
Chlorophyll
Derived from leafy green plants, the benefits of chlorophyll include improving digestion, reducing cancer risks and strengthening the immune system. For the skin it increases red blood cell production, therefore delivering oxygen to your skin cells which helps skin look fresher and smoother.
Citral
A naturally occurring scent ingredient that is derived from Lemongrass, Lemon Myrtle, Lemon, and Orange.
Citric Acid
Derived from the acids of lemons, limes, oranges, and grapefruit. Used to balance the pH but is also effective at getting rid of dead skin.
Citronellol
Acts a fragrance ingredient which is naturally sourced from plants such as Rose, Geranium, and Lemongrass.
Cocao Butter
Cocao Butter is found inside the cocoa pod that grows on the Cocao Tree. High in antioxidants, it helps fight off free radicals which cause skin ageing and dull lifeless skin.
Coco-Glucoside
Derived from renewable raw materials such as Coconut Oil it acts as a surfactant which helps increase the foaming capacity of a solution.
Decyl Glucoside
Derived from Coconuts, Decyl Glucoside is used primarily as a surfactant due to its ability to stabilise oil and water mixtures.
Dehydroacetic Acid
An organic compound that helps stabilise skin pH.
Disodium Lauryl Sulfosuccinate
Is a naturally occurring ingredient used as a surfactant due to its good foaming and cleansing properties.
Geranium (Geraniol)
A natural scent that is found in various essential oils such as Rose Oil and Citronella Oil.
Glyceryl Monostearate
An effective moisturising agent derived from plants.
Gluconolactone
A polyhydroxy acid which is gentle on sensitive skin and helps reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles
Glycerin
Is an organic compound found in skin as well as other natural substances. An excellent moisturising ingredient which helps rejuvenate dry, tired skin.
Glyceryl Oleate
Derived from renewable raw materials such as Coconut Oil it acts as a surfactant which helps increase the foaming capacity of a solution.
Glyceryl Caprylate
Produced from various vegetable oils it restores and regulates oils in the skin.
Green Clay
Beneficial in removing impurities, tightening pores, toning skin, exfoliating dead skin cells and reducing inflammation caused by acne.
Guar Gum
A tiny fibrous seed derived from the Guar plant used for its thickening and emulsifying properties.
Sunflower Seed (Helianthus Annuus) Oil
Rich in Calcium, Iron, Magnesium, Zinc and Vitamins A, K and E it is used to remedy all types of skin irritations. Because it is high in Vitamin E it is used as an emollient (moisturiser) which traps moisture and keeps the skin hydrated.
Hydroxystearl Alcohol & Hydroxystearl Glucoside
A vegetable-based emulsifier that absorbs quickly into the skin.
Jojoba Oil (Simmondsia Chinensis)
Long used by Native Americans, this powerhouse ingredient contains anti-oxidant properties, Omega 6 and 9 as well as Vitamin A and D.
Kakadu Plum Extract (Terminalia Ferdinandiana)
Originating from Australia, Kakadu Plum contains more Vitamin C than Orange, Kiwifruit and Grapefruit and Lemon.
Kanuka Oil (Kunzea Ericoides / Leptospermum Ericoides)
A powerful essential oil derived from the Myrtaceae family, which includes tea tree and manuka. Kanuka oil contains anti-bacterial properties which assist with reducing breakouts and cleanse the skin.
Kawakawa Extract (Piper Excelsum)
Found naturally in New Zealand, it contains anti-oxidant properties which improve the health and appearance of the skin. It also acts as an anti-bacterial which help neutralise acne-causing bacteria. Kawakawa is also used to treat various skin conditions such as Eczema, Psoriasis, and Dermatitis.
Lemon Essential Oil (Citrus Limon)
Contains anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory properties which make it ideal for cleansing and toning oily skin.
Lemongrass Essential Oil (Cymbopogon)
Lemon Grass is a tropical grassy plant used in cooking and herbal medicine. Packed with vitamin A and C it helps balance oil levels in skin and effective with killing acne-causing bacteria.
Limonene
Limonene is found in the peels of citrus fruits and is used because of its fragrant properties.
Linalool
Linalool is a naturally occurring fragrance that is found in plants such as Cinnamon, Mint, and Citrus fruits.
Macadamia Nut Oil (Macadamia Integrifolia)
Like Jojoba oil, the oil of Macadamia nuts is similar to the sebum produced by human skin. This makes it an ideal ingredient as it hydrates the skin without clogging pores. Full of anti-oxidants, Macadamia oil helps rejuvenate the skin giving it a healthy, firm appearance.
Avocado (Persea Gratissima) Oil
High in vitamin A, C, and essential fatty acids, Avocado oil is used to hydrate and heal damaged skin.
Harakeke (Phormium Tenax) Extract
Native to NZ, this powerful ingredient is sustainably harvested from Flax bush. Harakeke works to balance out the skin’s natural oils but also acts as an anti-inflammatory which allows damaged skin to recover. It is also packed with anti-oxidants which fight free radicals that cause wrinkles, dark spots, and dull skin.
Potassium Sorbate
A preservative developed from Sorbic Acid which naturally occurs in berries.
Extracted from rose seeds, Rose Oil is a fast-absorbing oil that reduces skin blemishes, scars and wrinkles.
Sodium Benzoate
A naturally occurring salt that acts as a preservative in our products. It can be found in Apples, Plums, Cranberries, and Prunes.
Sodium Isethionate
Derived from Coconuts, it acts as a surfactant in soaps and cleansers by lowering the surface tension of water, making it easier to spread on your skin. It also helps oil-based ingredients bond with water.
Sodium Phytate
Is the salt from Phytic Acid which naturally occurs in Oats and Seeds. Sodium Phytate helps normalise oily skin but also improve skin elasticity and can also reduce pore size.
Sorbitan Olivate
Derived from Olive Oil, Sorbitan Olivate acts as an emulsifier. Its ability to reduce skin water loss makes it an effective moisturiser.
Sorbitan Palmitate
Made from Palm Oil it acts as a surfactant. Acts as an anti-oxidant but also contains antiseptic properties.
Soy Lecithin
Extracted from Soy Beans it contains Omega 3 and Omega 6 which are essential for healthy skin.
Stearic Acid
A natural fatty acid compound derived from vegetables. Used to protect the skin’s surface against water loss and help improve the skins protective barrier against external pollutants.
Sweet Almond Oil (Puncus Dulcis)
An intensely rich oil full of Vitamin E, A Potassium and Zinc. Effective in reducing acne flare-ups, fine lines, and blemishes.
Triethl Citrate
A natural ingredient that is common in Citrus fruits such as Oranges and Lemons. It balances the skin’s pH by allowing toxins from within the skin to be expelled.
Vanilla (Vanilla Planifolia)
Extracted from Vanilla Pods, it is used for its natural fragrance.
Vegetable Glycerin
Vegetable Glycerin is a clear liquid made from Soybean and Coconuts. Is used to help soothe skin irritations and hydrate the skin.
Vitamin E (Tocopherols)
A powerful anti-oxidant which helps improve the skins appearance and health. It prevents signs of ageing by reducing the appearance of fine lines and is also effective at repairing UV damaged skin.
Vitis Vinifera (Grape) Seed Extract
Grape seed contains high levels of polyphenols and tocopherols which help repair and rejuvenate the skin.
Willow Bark Extract
Has been used for centuries to treat headaches and other ailments. Willow Bark contains salicylic acid, a BHA that is a natural exfoliant. It is used in many acne treatments because of its ability to help skin shed dead cells and clean pores.
Xanthan Gum
A natural polysaccharide added into our products as a binder to prevent ingredients separating.
Xylitol
Found naturally in various Berries, Oats and Mushrooms, Xylitol is a sugar alcohol which helps boost the level of Hyaluronic acid, a natural lubricant that assists in collagen production.
Xylitylglucoside
A naturally occurring ingredient that comes from the sugars in wheat. It acts as a moisturiser but also helps optimise the skins water reserves resulting in firmer healthier looking skin.
